Our Story

Launched on January 30, 2011, Impact Church of St. Louis is passionate about being an embodiment of a New Testament, Biblical church. Really, there's nothing special about us; we're just normal people, imperfect people at that, in a desperate pursuit to become all that God has for us. The Bible is our guide and we're doing all that we can to allow it to influence every part of our lives. Do we have it all together? Absolutely not...and we're okay with that because we're all a work in progress.

So what is the the thing that drives us? Is it the amazing love and dedication that we have for St. Louis metro area? Is our distaste with traditional religious structures that place everyone in a mold or stereotype? Is it God's call in our hearts to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ? We can definitely say an affirmative "yes" to any of these questions. However, we feel that our daily motivation is ensuring that the reality of life and the presence of a real and intimate God and His word collide in holy union, providing a supernatural and yet practical experience of Jesus Christ in our cultural context.

We love engaging our world in relevant ways while professing the ancient, proven truths of Biblical scripture that empower and challenge the believer for personal Christian growth and productive and lasting ministry.

Our mission is simply stated in, "we wish to know and demonstrate the Jesus of the Bible." Many religious structures have painted an image of Jesus that clearly is not one that God's Word illustrates. It is this Jesus, the Biblical Christ that our hearts desire to experience and demonstrate to St. Louis metro and the world.
